Privacy

The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for the Outward Impact Foundation Website www.outwardimpact.com, all associated subdomains, online services, and mailing lists. Except as set forth within this privacy statement, we do not release personally identifiable information about our members or visitors to our web site without their permission. Please note that Outward Impact reviews its privacy statement from time to time and that such statement, therefore, is subject to change. We ask that you bookmark and periodically review this page to ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of our privacy statement.

Information Gathered and Use of Such Information

In certain areas of our web site — for example, when registering to become a member of Outward Impact– we request that you provide us with personally identifiable information (including first name, surname, street address, e-mail address, telephone number, zip code, and state information). In fact, Outward Impact’s membership registration process requires potential members to provide us with their email address. At this time, we only use your email address to provide you with periodic mailings from Outward Impact, and we do not sell, rent or trade your email address to or with any third party. The inclusion of your email address on our email list, however, is voluntary, and a member can request removal from the email list at any time by following the procedures set forth below. In addition, limited data about your computer and your internet service provider is collected when you visit our web site. We only use this data to diagnose problems with our web site and/or server and to administer our web site. Although we have the ability to determine from an IP address a visitor’s internet service provider and the geographic location of his or her point of connectivity, we do not do so as a practice at this time.

Registration by Children

Outward Impact does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children (defined herein as minors younger than 16). Before registering for membership with Outward Impact, we ask that children have their parents read our privacy statement.

Other Websites

Our web site contains links to other web sites. These links are provided solely as a service to Outward Impact members. Outward Impact is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites, including such sites’ use of any information (such as IP address, browser type or operating system) collected when visitors to our web site click through links to such other sites. Even though such information may not identify you personally, we strongly encourage you to become familiar with the privacy practices of such other web sites.

Reservation of Rights

We cooperate with law enforcement agencies, as permitted by law, in identifying those who may be using our servers or services for illegal activities. We also reserve the right to report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement individuals or entities.

Security

Visitors to Outward Impact’s website are protected by a secure server environment when making online donations and accessing their account. Outward Impact uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for the secure transfer of sensitive personal data between your web browser and our web servers, which are stored off-site in a physically secure, locked hosting facility with limited access. All financial transactions at the Outward Impact web site are handled securely through PayPal or Stripe. No credit card information is stored. No such information is accepted by the website.

Choice/Opt-Out

If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please contact info@outwardimpact.com with the subject ” Opt-Out ” in the email header. We will promptly remove you and your information from the mailing list.

If you are unable to contact us from your old/incorrect address, contact the email list administrator at info@outwardimpact.com with your changed and/or modified information. [Outward Impact limits its own e-mail solicitations to those customers who have not “opted out” of receiving such communications. The solicitations are limited in that they, among other things, will clearly indicate the originator of the e-mail and provide the customer with a method of “opting out” of receiving future communications of a similar nature.]
